Mews Start-up Studio
“ Our aim is to secure and rationalise the use of the start-up model by industry for innovation, while capitalising on its agility.”
Mews Partners has joined forces with Deepika to create its start-up studio dedicated to AI.
By capitalising on the industrial expertise of Mews Partners and the modelling and data science skills of Mews Labs, our studio is entirely dedicated to the creation of start-ups offering manufacturers innovative, high value-added and, above all, industrialisable solutions.
Our strengths
Speed
MVP ready in 6 months
Market launch in 18 months
Security
A gradual, iterative approach that guarantees added value
Progressive investment to limit financial risk
Flexibility
Possibility to deploy, stop or re-internalise the start-up at any time
OUR vision
European industry has a historic opportunity thanks to the potential of AI, particularly in its ability to simulate and predict, which is crucial in an increasingly unstable environment…
However, while many manufacturers are developing a large number of in-house initiatives, all too often these remain at the POC stage and struggle to reach scale. Processes are cumbersome, strategies rigid and innovation is rarely a priority…
As far as the start-up ecosystem is concerned, while there is no shortage of technical capabilities, the focus is elsewhere: advertising, e-commerce, finance… Agility often rhymes with the fragility of processes, and innovation is sometimes seen as an end in itself, to the detriment of long-term business viability.
There’s a missing link that we want to build. We want to work with manufacturers to create and develop innovative, practical concepts that can be industrialised. We want to get the best talent in tech and industry working together. We want to contribute to the coming revolution.
what'S A START-UP STUDIO?
Where incubators or accelerators help existing start-ups to develop and adapt their technology to a market, a start-up studio designs the start-up from start to finish:
from its concept, which must respond natively to a concrete business need, to its launch, including the choice of appropriate technologies, the business plan, the partnership ecosystem and the management team.
In this way, the start-up studio makes it possible to capitalise on the agile and innovative approach of start-ups, while neutralising non-viable concepts from the outset, streamlining funding and mitigating their over-dependence on founders.
Through this gradual approach, which leaves “exit doors” at each stage, the start-up studio guarantees the value of the company that is eventually created and largely dilutes the risks to which investors are exposed.
Our value proposition
We develop start-ups for manufacturers that meet their strategic challenges by drawing on:
We provide you with all the industrial, technological and scientific expertise you need to distinguish relevant concepts from non-viable ideas and turn them into high value-added start-ups.
Controlling industrial issues
Mews Partners offers its expertise in R&D, Innovation, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Digital Transformation, Environmental Performance and its mastery of sectoral industrial issues to guarantee the relevance of projects and secure the process.
Powerful technical and technological capabilities
Mews Labs has a strong team of specialists in AI & data science, including deeplearning, hybrid modelling, simulation and digital twins… It is at the heart of the technical development of the solutions supported by the Studio and guarantees its viability.
A solid ecosystem
Our partnership with the Centre Borelli enables us to draw on the most recent state-of-the-art in terms of neuroscience, AI, mathematics… Through our association with Deepika, we are at the forefront of the issues of ethics, trust and environmental responsibility associated with AI.
To design, develop and deploy your start-up, we use a solid, flexible method that mitigates risk and allows you to gradually increase the investment required. At any time, you can decide to stop the investment or take direct control of the project.

AI raises many ethical questions, all of which are legitimate. We therefore want to ensure that AI is used in a virtuous and responsible way, through two pillars:
Trusted AI
AI that is transparent, explainable and supervised, and can be controlled and audited like any other business activity
AI with footprint reduction
AI geared towards socially and environmentally responsible applications
